. The Duluth Northern Stars defeated Grand Rapids-Greenway 2-1 in overtime in a Section 7AA high school girls hockey playoff game Thursday night at IRA Civic Center in Grand Rapids. Alexia Klaas scored the game-winning goal for the Northern Stars, who advance to face host Forest Lake in a semifinal game Saturday.

. Duluth Denfeld will play host to Superior in a Lake Superior Conference high school boys hockey game at 8 p.m. today at Duluth Heritage Sports Center. The ninth-ranked Hunters are led by senior goaltender Zach Thompson, senior forwards Alex Thompson and Levi Talarico and junior forward Tre Opack.
