Skeeter Moore on today’s Section 7AA high school boys hockey championship game between the Greyhounds and Grand Rapids at Amsoil Arena: “Thursday’s game between East and Rapids will be one of the finest high school hockey games in this area in many years. These players, many of them seniors, have played against each other in many ‘big’ games throughout their playing days so far. But none this big, to get to the Minnesota state tournament. The game will feature two very well-coached teams, many skilled players, and very good goaltending from Parker and Shepard. I think it will come down to special teams and how they execute. East is red-hot with its PP and PK, sporting great numbers. A must-see game.”
